About us

This website has been established since 2005  to assist community groups and organisations to gain a presence on the Internet.

Or if your community group already has an existing site then we can re-design it to meet current standards in production for the World Wide Web (WWW).  These standards have been put forward by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), which has been in existence since the mid 1990's.

The W3C standards for HTML and CSS have been a vital improvement to the Internet. Using these standards means that all sites created by Free Web Design Online will stand a better chance of working on more web browsers and on more platforms then any non standards complying site. Which means that your site is more likely to attract more new members to your organisation.

We also believe in the W3C's web accessibility guidelines, which assist people with disabilities in gaining access to resources and information on the Internet. We consider these guidelines to be very important for making sure that all web sites bring client satisfaction. There is nothing worse then receiving several complaints from clients saying that: "I don't have (insert plug-in name here), on my system so I can't get to your site", or "I am unable to read your site due to the lack of contrast," etc. That is where we come in, Free web design online will make sure that all websites are as accessible to people with disabilities whenever possible.

Free Web Design Online  is based in South West  Victoria Australia and so we are happy to design sites for any local community groups as well as those from other parts  around the world.
